
The International College of Liberal Arts (iCLA) at Yamanashi Gakuin University, located 90 minutes west of Tokyo, is a four-year American style liberal arts college in Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan. iCLA combines a multi-cultural learning environment with a beautifully traditional Japanese setting in the shadow of Mt Fuji.
Japanese Language Program
You can cultivate your language skills from the basic foundation of the language up to high level fluency adequate for career opportunities in Japan.
Cultural Workshops
Experience Japanese arts when you join iCLA’s cultural workshops. You can learn how to perform tea ceremony in a traditional tatami room, go on excursions to the Mt Fuji region, write Japanese calligraphy, and so forth.
Exchange program
Students can go on study abroad for a year at one of iCLA’s 50 partner institutions spread across 30 countries/regions.

There are two intakes: April and September. Application period is limited for each intakes.

Access
From Tokyo, you can either fly to Narita Airport, then take a bus (120mins), or fly to Haneda Airport, then take a bus (180mins). Alternatively, you can take a train from Tokyo (106mins) or by highway bus (160 mins) to Yamanashi Gakuin University.
