LANGUAGE

From Papua New Guinea, there is no direct flight so travellers need to transit in Australia. Flight from Brisbane to major cities of New Zealand is about 3  - 3.5 hours.

EDUCATION SYSTEM

The education system for schools is made up of 13 Year levels. Primary school starts at Year 1 up to Year 8, and Secondary school starts from Year 9 up to Year 13. High school students generally complete at age of 17.

For tertiary education, Vocational training and university study are available after secondary education.

ENGLISH TEST

Depends on your qualification background, institution and program you choose, you may be asked to provide an evidence of English Proficiency.

Alternatively, you may participate for English Language program provided by Tertiary Education Providers which may exempt an English proficiency test.

All international students who study in New Zealand must have a Health Insurance which approved by the school or institution.

WORK DURING YOUR STUDY

Most student visas allow you to work up to 40 hours every 2 weeks while your course is in session, and unrestricted hours during any scheduled course break. Australia has many part-time employment opportunities in a wide range of industries.

STUDENT VISA

When a student receive an offer from an institution applied, student must meet all the conditions to accept an offer and making a required deposit is one of the conditions. 

Once student fulfil the required conditions, student can apply for a Student visa.
